My photo shoot is a hommage to fashion photographer Louise Dahl-Wolfe, a pioneer in modern fashion photography, whose work is celebrated in a major exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London, from oct 20th.
In my photographs, Georgina and Elisha model my 1940s inspired beret, my new Paulette cap, Coquette pillbox hat and Darling headpiece. All of these can be purchased from the museum shop or via my online shop. But please do get in touch if you require any of them in a different colour or size.
When one of my teachers said my still lives were the essence of superficiality, I thought, ‘Oh God, I’m no good', but I’m an independent soul. I thought, ‘All right, I’ll be a decorator.’
