Hooray! Here comes a new lot of Anna Chocola make-up bags!
The fabrics I’ve picked are so stunning, you can also use these little purses as evening bags (big enough to fit all you need on a night out). They are also long enough to be used as pretty pencil-cases!
The frilly trims come from a small “ancient” haberdashery in the heart of Madrid (one of my favourite shops in the world!).
Most of the fabrics are from US designers… and all of these are made by me with the greatest care, in my Brighton studio!
Available from my eBay shop from today.
I’ve made a new pattern this week. It was a 1928 fashion illustration that inspired me to make this new cloche. It has half-moon shaped sections on the top and an asymmetrical brim. I’ve made it so that it can also be worn back to front for a different style. The bow version makes it even cuter in my opinion, but then again, I LOVE BOWS! A few are already available from my eBay shop, but you can also get one custom-made if you email me.
I’ve just made a few more drawstring make-up bags as the previous lot sold out so fast !!! Handmade in Brighton by myself, Lovely US designers cotton fabric and cute new lining.. Hope you like them and check them out in my little eBay shop!
I’ve found some gorgeous fair trade and organic cotton fabrics from the Fair Trade Fabric Company to make these new hats. I’ve always been one for recycling clothes and fabrics, sourcing from and giving as much as possible to charity shops… Also I find the success of fashion with conscience ethical brand People Tree very encouraging and inspiring. Therefore I’ve decided to make an Anna Chocola Fair Trade & Organic Range.
If you’d like any other of my hats in any other fabric from the Fair Trade fabric Company, please get in touch. I’ll order the fabric and make the hat to your requirements.
Hopefully my customers will support the idea and this initial mini-collection will grow into a bigger one! Please visit my eBay shop.
I’ve been adding to my collection of Anna Chocola pillbox hats this week. I’ve improved my stiffening technique and made these really lush headpieces. Birdcage veiling seems to be a must for my burlesque & rockabilly customers, so I’ve stitched some nice large pieces of net to partially cover the face. Each one is unique, as always, and can be purchased from my eBay shop!
