Anna Chocola

This is my first painting of the year. It’s called “Iceland in my Heart” and it’s acrylic on a 130 cm x 100cm canvas.

This is my new advert!!! I’ve drawn my own hats on these lovely 1920s models. The flyer is also a proper postcard, which makes it really easy to share. I like the idea that it’s a pretty object in itself, not just another flyer.

Exciting news: Anna Chocola is now a Registered Trade Mark!

Last year I was lucky enough to be asked to paint my friend Harry Neve‘s  ”Wasted Days” EP cover (Harry was sending songs as he was recording them). Earlier this year I was also commissioned to paint Poppy Perezz‘s album cover picturing their mexican influences and electro-latin powerpop!!

Both projects have been two wonderful journeys.

Here is a painting of a weird & wonderful fun fair village. It was inspired by the lovely festivals I’ve been to this summer.

I’ve decided to show more of this on-going photographic project about every day life. It was originally started when I was an art student.

It’s mainly about trying to capture the beauty in the repetitiveness and yet singularity of everyday actions.
